Michael,
I had no idea that you kept up with music all these years. I knew you had it in you but I never knew you would actually do it. I envy you in many ways for following your dream. Sounds like you had a hard time of it for a while, but you came out of it a better man I am sure. If you are ever in Kansas, let me know. I am buying your albums. I am afraid I lost my Papa Nemo (actually someone stole it years ago) I love you man. And I am proud of you

Hi, thank you for leaving your link on our Guest-book and your invite to send any of oiur C.D.'s, unfortunatly our Bass Man, Clive "Fingers" Yeats has recently suffered a stroke and although he is recovering well he has lost the use of his right hand, so we are forced to look around to try and find a replacement. It's going to be difficult. If we do then we will look again at recording. In the meantime we are still jamming around with a variety of session musician friends who are "free" that night, so keep checking out our web-site. Cheers, the Beat Goes On.

I played sax, flute, and the occasional drums with Mike for 6 months in Albany, NY in 1983 (I'm the sax soloist on his Shoestring Records single). We worked every week and it was a lot of fun. I knew Mike had his demons, but he was always kind and gracious to me, and was a helluva nice guy to work for. I'm so glad he's made a comeback and I'm very happy he's a survivor. Best of luck, Mike!

Thanks for the amazing show at BB King's on the christmas eve! You (and of course all other band members this night) played the blues just like it should be... with emotion, with passion!
That kind of music was actually the reason why I started playing the guitar years ago.
Thanks again!

Last nights performance with "Snakeman" at the TP was INCREDIBLE! I have seen Michael many times but last night? There was magic in the air... Eddie's vocals were fantastic & his fingers on the congas wove a complex beat around the notes flowing from Michael's guitar & Snakeman's harmonica was intertwined perfectly throughout.
Thank you for a GREAT night

my son found your website looking for music for my grandsons to download
what a delight to know you're still at it (a miracle that any of us survived those Lake Placid days!), and a very special delight to hear even snippets of the Free Beer album - eager to get it all downloaded
I'm living across the CT river from White River Jct, VT - some good places to play nearby if you're looking to expand your horizons to the boonies - or take a working vacation - would be fun to see you - Sandy, too. Would also like to hear about Bobby Potter. Any news of him?

Hey, I saw you play live by chance on Bleeker street a while back when me and my girl casually strolled into an open mic at Kenny's Castaways. Then by chance I got a copy of your cd down in Austin Tx. while on vacation this Summer. I was in Waterloo Records and I saw a cd in the window and I took it because I assumed it was a free and didn't even look to see what it was. Just yesterday I opened it and heard it for the first time.
I made the connection from reading the liner notes and having a bad ass memory as to who you were. I'm really enjoying the fact that I've become a fan through coincidence. Hope to hear more of your stuff and see you live in the city with your band.

I've seen Michael Packer Blues Band live(TWICE!!) and I think they are a hard working band that have definitely paid their dues and earned the right to play the blues. And play the blues they do!! I'm from New Orleans and I make it a point to schedule my visits to the northeast to include catching a show of the Michael Packer Blues Band. The CD's are real keepers and great music for road trips!
